Being
a short diversion of the dubious origins of The Evidents...
In
the beginning there was Mick Crowley, guitarist, songwriter
and self-professed wit, who early on destroyed any chance
at a productive life by deciding he wanted to have a Rock
& Roll band. After a few attempts at bands of varying degrees
of lousiness with varying degrees of personnel, he found
success through meeting the men who, with Mick, would all
too soon form The Hate Bombs. After five years, two albums
and tours across the country, Mick decided he had enough
experience to start his own band, called (for no good reason)
The Evidents. After a long incubation period of members
dropping in, dropping out and sending thinly veiled threats
of retaliation to the incubation of the situation, The Evidents
arrived at a solid lineup that also includes Jeff Nowlin
on bass-o-matic and Ken Chiodini on plunger and trap set.
This band put out their first helLP in late 2001 called,
cleverly enough, The Evidents. Another album full of thrills,
spills and chills is due out very soon. They are also noted
for their live sets, wowing millions around the world and
the greater tri-county area!!
